Judge Biography (From Official Web Site)

Judge John Maley is Okmulgee born and raised. He graduated from Okmulgee High School, attended Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, and earned my BA degree and Juris Doctorate Degree at the University of Oklahoma. After obtaining his education and serving in the United States Air Force for 4 years of active duty, he returned to Okmulgee.

He lives in Okmulgee with my wife, Louise. We have 5 children and 14 grandchildren. Okmulgee has always been my home by choice. It is the place where he wants to be with his family, to practice my profession, and to help the people who live here through community service. He didn't just happen to be here by chance - his roots are here and he am proud of his history.

He is also proud to be a part of Northeast Oklahoma and grateful to have had the opportunity to serve Creek, Okfuskee and Okmulgee Counties as a District Judge.
