Lemon Law in Oklahoma & Car Disputes

  • Used Car Purchases. In Oklahoma, used car lots are regulated by the Used Motor Vehicle and Parts Commission. Although Oklahoma;s "lemon laws" only apply to new vehicle sales, consumers and used car buyers with grievance can file a complaint with the Commission and the seller must respond to the complaint with copies of all documentation within ten (10) days.
    • | Complaint Form (PDF). This is the official complaint form put out by the Commission, so do not blame EsquireEmpire that it says "Black Inc." instead of "Blank Ink," a somewhat humorous typo.
